Brief Description of work and your role in the referenced contract:
SDI was the Prime Contractor on the above project, which involved replacing existing PVC/steel natural gas pipelines with polyethylene pipe and necessary control valves, anodeless risers, meters and pressure regulators. Installed locator tapes and tracing wires. Connected new gas line to buildings, performed tests, and lit pilots. Provided new natural gas pressure reduction and telemetering station. Saw cutting asphalt roads and concrete sidewalks; repaved and reconstructed roadways to original condition .All gas services had to be maintained with no more than a 4-hour shutdown for transfer from the old lines to the new lines.
